From the app settings menu, you can enable or disable Health Connect syncing at any time.
With Health Connect enabled, you can seamlessly import your shared data from the Health Connect app into AKESO.
Enabling Health Connect
1. To enable Health Connect sync, first ensure the Health Connect app is downloaded on your device from the Google Play Store.
2. Next, open your settings menu inside AKESO, by tapping the triple bar (≡) icon in the top right corner of your screen.
3. Next, tap on “App Settings” to open the app settings menu.
4. Tap on “Health Connect Settings”.

5. Tap the outlined checkbox to start enabling Health Connect sync.
NOTE: Health Connect settings are disabled by default.
6. An “App Access” pop-up will now appear on your device.
7. Toggle on the “Allow all” slider to allow AKESO to sync your saved data from Health Connect.
Alternatively, you can manually select which data types you wish to sync by toggling on/off the sliders to the right side of each category.
8. When you are finished choosing which data to sync, return to AKESO using the back arrow.
9. You will know that Health Connect has been successfully enabled when the checkbox displays a check icon.
Disabling Health Connect
1. To disable Health Connect syncing, first open your settings menu by tapping the triple bar (≡) icon in the top right corner of your screen.
2. Next, tap on “App Settings” to open the app settings menu.
3. Tap on “Health Connect Settings”.
4. Tap the colored check box to turn off Health Connect syncing within AKESO.
5. You will know Health Connect syncing has been successfully disabled when the checkbox no long appears colored.
